When I was just 15 years old, I found myself homeless and panhandling for change on the streets of Ottawa. 

My family and I immigrated from El Salvador, and the culture shock I experienced was too much to handle at that time.

Life was tough. Eventually, I dropped out of school and relied on the kindness of others just to survive. Every day was a struggle. I certainly didn’t have much to look forward to.

The birth of my daughter initiated a profound change in my lifestyle. I now felt as if I had a purpose. I didn’t want her to grow up without a home, so I knew I needed to shift my mindset and turn my life around.

From these lowly beginnings, I embarked on a journey to grow my wealth against all odds.

Through hard work, perseverance, and a wealth-based mindset, I can proudly say that I now manage more than 600 doors across Canada.

Why am I telling you this? 

The simple reason is to impress upon you that anyone can follow in my footsteps. There were no miracles involved. Just dedication and a will to succeed. 

Creating your financial freedom is not a walk in the park, but it’s also not as difficult as people make it out to be.

The thousands of students I have taught through the WealthGenius mentorship program are a testament to that. Many have gone on to become successful developers and millionaires in the real estate industry.

With determination and the right mindset, anyone can scale their financial mountain and succeed.

When I was seven years old my life was turned upside down.  The guerrilla war and harsh economic circumstances in Peru pushed my parents to find a more stable and safe place for their children to grow up.  

I was very conscious of being moved away from my culture and family, even at a young age and I became very sheltered and detached.  With little money and always being on the move, we banded together as a family and shared the responsibilities of surviving in a new country.  

Through it all, the one spark that never burned out was my passion, need and fervour to create and build.  Everything from building school projects, toys for my sister out of scraps, several entrepreneurial projects along the way,  to now building wealth through real estate. 

Today, I am a full time entrepreneur investing in multi family real estate, land development projects and software.

Why am I telling you this?

Every project, challenge and failure has taught me something that I needed to get ahead in my next endeavour. I have build software, dog toys, websites, apps, blogs, and built all the systems and operations in three companies in the start up space which were later acquired.   These efforts resulted in approximately $220M in acquisitions.

With will power and determination, anyone can achieve their deepest desires and grow into whatever person or life they create for themselves.
